Do you test on animals?

No. None of our products are tested on animals. We believe in ‘beauty without bunnies’ and we are PETA certified.

Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?

Apart from our nail polishes, all our products are certified BDIH Natural and some are certified COSMOS Organic meaning only natural and organic ingredients are used. There are no harsh chemicals involved in the manufacturing process which makes them suitable for all skin types. Although not certified, our nail varnishes are now free from 20 harsh chemicals and are plant-based. For more information, please see our Certification page.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes, our packaging can be recycled. A lot of our products come in plastic tubes which are recyclable. However, we are working to steer away from plastic and have introduced a couple of low plastic cosmetic pieces including a foundation stick in a paper tube and refill palettes where the refills come in aluminium casings and cardboard wrappers.

Does your packaging contain BPA?

No, none of our packaging contains BPA.

How can I find out what products are vegan?

Not all our cosmetics products are vegan, however, our Natural Care range and Men’s Range are. If you would like to find out more about what products are suitable for vegans you can either look out for the vegan heart logo, or the vegan society logo or you can view our list of vegan products. Please visit our certified page and click on the link attached to the vegan society to download the full list.

Can I add to my order once I have placed it?

Unfortunately, once you had placed your order, we cannot accept any changes. If you wish to return your order, we will accept receipt of unopened items purchased through the benecos.uk website and returned to Pravera Ltd. Please see Terms & Conditions for further information.

Do your products contain gluten?

The only products that do contain gluten are the Men’s 3 in 1 Body Wash, Men’s Face and Aftershave Balm, Men’s Deodorant, and the Beard Oil.

Do you have samples to try before I buy?

Do any of your products contain Talc?

Some of our face powders contain talc, as it is used as a binding agent. However, the particle size of the talc in our products is of a size that cannot enter the respiratory tract, besides the fact that mineral pigments and mineral particles used in pressed powder formulations and in liquid formulations are usually not inhaled, at least not within normal usage. In our textures Talc is still a harmless ingredient that is also used from many other natural cosmetics manufacturers. All our contract manufacturers confirm that the quality of the used Talc in our products is free from asbestos.

What are parabens?

Parabens are commonly used in skincare and cosmetics. There has been studies around parabens and the link to cancers. Although not been proven, we do not use parabens in our products.

Are your make-up brushes suitable for vegans?

Yes. Our makeup brushes are made from Made from painted FSC certified birch, recycled aluminium collar and toray fibres. Toray fibres are of high quality and durable making them perfect for use with make-up.
